Hundreds of students of the Dhonburi Technical Co-lege gathered in front of Government House yesterday to protest the condition of the road in front of their school. Two kilometers of roadway leading to the college had be-come a virtual klong, student leaders told Prime Minister Sarit Thanarat. When the students gathered the Prime Minister was pre-siding over the weekly meeting of the Cabinet, but he left the conference room to personally speak with the students. He promised the students that fast action would be taken, even if he had to borrow money to do so. But he also pointed out that complaints in such a manner were not appropriate. The duty of a student, he said is to learn- such complaints should be the duty of school officials, he said.th_TH
